I am a second year at NYMC and knew from the time I interviewed and heard about NYMCCHR that I wanted to be involved. I have an interest in improving the plight of immigrants and refugees in our country; working with CHR is a great way to work on these issues within our own community and from a medical perspective. Collaborating with fellow students and local clinicians allows us to use our expertise to protect our neighbors and support our community in unique and critical ways.
