Ariadne Zias

Ariadne Zias is a second year medical student at New York Medical College. While an undergraduate at NYU, she spent time volunteering at the Filippiada Refugee Camp in her family’s home country of Greece. Her passion for refugee advocacy began here after witnessing the unique experiences faced by refugees and migrants seeking asylum. She remains eager to continue supporting and working with this population at the NYMC Center for Human Rights. It is her hope that the efforts of NYMCCHR can help impact the larger asylum community of New York and assist the journeys of both those seeking asylum and those who have achieved asylum.
