Meet Gabriela Rodriguez, a first-year medical student at New York Medical College who currently serves as a Case Manager at the NYMC Centers for Human Rights. Gabriela is genuinely excited to collaborate with the passionate team, aiming to provide essential support to as many asylum seekers as possible this year.

Outside of her academic and professional responsibilities, Gabriela finds joy in various activities that rejuvenate her spirit. Whether she’s hitting the gym for a workout, exploring the great outdoors, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or simply relishing quality time with friends, Gabriela values these moments of balance.

Originally hailing from the dynamic DMV region, Gabriela’s upbringing amidst a rich mosaic of cultures and opportunities has instilled in her a deep appreciation for diversity and a keen awareness of global understanding. It’s this appreciation that motivates her commitment to serving communities and fostering inclusivity wherever she goes.
