Kayla Koffler

Recruitment Chair

Kayla is a first year medical student at New York Medical College. She completed her undergraduate degree in English at Barnard College. In her undergraduate studies she completed a thesis on the literary presentations of immigrant narratives and has since had a strong interest in helping those seeking asylum in the United States. She hopes as recruitment chair to involve more physicians in the needs of asylum seekers in the community.
