I joined NYMCCHR because their mission really resounded with me when I heard about it during the activities fair. It was incredibly eye-opening to learn about this unique role we, as future healthcare providers, could play to support the people in our community. Furthermore, I was intrigued by how the intersection between law and medicine would combine to achieve an important common goal. Working with NYMCCHR has been one of the best experiences I've had throughout my medical school experience.
