Medha Reddy
Public Relations Chair
Medha Reddy is a first year Medical Student at New York Medical College. She had an early interest in supporting migrant and refugee populations, organizing a regional awareness event with the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement and Refugee Council USA while still in high school. While in college, Medha was able to draw on her background in social entrepreneurship to help develop a case-competition which challenged regional college students to develop avenues to better supporting the mental health of refugee populations of Chicago, in collaboration with the Chicago Department of Public Health. Medha is excited to continue advocating for the wellbeing of migrant and refugee communities as the Public Relations Chair of CHR!
Outside of CHR, Medha serves as the Founder and Advisory Board President of Leading Women of Tomorrow, an organization that advocates for gender equality and women’s representation in government and politics, as well as a NYMC Student Senator, member of the Anti-Racism and Anti-Bias Task Force, and Advocacy Chair of the NYMC American Medical Women’s Association.
